Q: What kind of clay vessels can you make?
A: The most popular clay vessels include vases, wall hangings, ornaments, and dishes. I can also make custom pieces including but not limited to: picture frames, platters, planters, tiles, spoon rest, and more. Do you have another piece in mind? Just ask!  View the gallery

Q: What kind of events do you press flowers for?
A: Any event that you want to press flowers from! Some events include: Wedding, Anniversary, Celebration of Life, Funeral, Bridal Shower, Baby Shower, Prom, Homecoming, and more! I would also love to press your favorite flowers in your garden. 

Q: Can you press dried flowers?
A: Yes!

Q: Can I customize my ceramic vessels? 
A: Yes! You can customize colors, sizes, and impressions of names and dates.

Q: How long have you been working with clay?
A: Over 8 years!

Q: Do you use a wheel?
A: Yes, I enjoy wheel-throwing. However, I prefer using the method of handbuilding for preserving flowers in clay.

Q: How do you mail flowers?
A: Don’t worry, I will provide detailed instructions for you!

Q: Do you accept returns or exchanges?
A: I do not accept returns or exchanges. But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.

Q: How long does the process of pressing flowers into clay take? 
A: It is a very personal and curated process. I handle each ceramic vessel at least 15 times during the process of creating from start to finish. Finished ceramics typically ship 4-6 weeks after your flowers arrive at the studio. 

Q: How many flowers do you need? 
A: It depends on how many vessels you want created and the size of each one. I have made 20 vessels from one bridal bouquet.  

Q: What happens to the flowers after they are pressed in clay? 
A: They will be composted into organic matter to grow future flowers.
